The 2019 preseason rolls on for two sides currently camped out in Southern California, as Columbus Crew SC visit LAFC at their posh digs in downtown LA.

Itās been a promising first month of the year for Bob Bradley's side, whoāve re-signed several veterans, kept hold of superstar Carlos Vela and notched some decent scrimmage performances in recent weeks.
Most recently, the Black & Gold defeated star-studded Japanese visitors Vissel Kobe 4-1 on Thursday in an entertaining evening at āThe Banc,ā an outing theyāll look to replicate against Columbus.
Columbus Crew SC
The goals have been harder to come by for Crew SC, whoāve scored just one goal in their first two preseason matches ā but on the bright side, theyāve yet to concede, posting clean sheets in both affairs, the first a scoreless draw with Vissel Kobe and the second a 1-0 win over Club Tijuana on Thursday.
New coach Caleb Porter expressed optimism about his early work with the āYellow Football Team,ā suggesting that theyāre ahead of schedule in terms of their preseason tactical periodization process.
