On Monday, July 17th, Major League Soccer will join First Lady Jill Biden for a youth soccer clinic with children and families on the South Lawn of the White House as part of the Biden-Harris Administrationās efforts to highlight how sports unites us, and supports and empowers young people.
The clinic will be led by MLS All-Stars and feature a series of skills training stations and scrimmages for young athletes brought together by Washington, DCās Department of Parks and Recreation ā a futureĀ League operator of MLSĀ GO. MLS GO isĀ the Leagueās recreational youth soccer program designed to increase participation, accessibility, and inclusivity for both all children in soccer across the United States.
The event will include remarks fromĀ the First Lady, plus members of theĀ MLSĀ soccer community,Ā MLSĀ Greats (former players), and owners, as well as officials from the Biden-Harris Administration. The clinic will kick off the Leagueās All-Star Week festivities in Washington, D.C.Ā
