Ethan Bartlow saves Houston Dynamo FC | Energy Moment of the Matchday
Not all stat sheets are created equal. Case in point: Houston Dynamo FC's 2-1 win at Minnesota United FC over the weekend.
Bartlow joined the Dynamo after being selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft. He kicked off his professional journey with the Club’s MLS NEXT Pro team, Dynamo 2, before making his MLS debut during Houston’s 3-1 victory versus Inter Miami CF on April 2, 2022. Since his debut, the 24-year-old has earned 70 appearances and 46 starts with the Dynamo across all competitions.
The Woodinville, Washington native has since become a contributor to Houston’s success over the past three season, helping the Dynamo win the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, reach the 2023 MLS Western Conference Final and qualify for the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup. In 2024, Bartlow helped Houston qualify for the MLS Cup Playoffs in consecutive years for the first time in a decade, while the team set club records for road wins (8) and points (54).
