30 players to watch in MLS’s 30th season
We’re almost there, folks. We’re just days away from the start of the new MLS season – the 30th in league history.
McGlynn joined the Dynamo ahead of the 2025 season after four years (2021-2024) with Philadelphia Union, totaling 108 regular season and postseason appearances, including seven goals and 15 assists. The American international finished his last regular season with the Union with a career-high in appearances (30), starts (25), goals (four) and assists (seven). Notably, his performances throughout the year earned him the No. 3 on the MLS 22 under 22 list, marking his third consecutive appearance.
McGlynn has earned 28 caps for the U.S. across the U-20, U-23 and senior levels, including his first start for the senior USMNT in January, where he recorded his debut goal and assist in a 3-1 victory over Venezuela. Additionally, he made his mark in Paris with the U.S. Men’s Olympic Soccer Team, featuring in all four matches as they advanced to the Quarterfinals.
