Career Summary

Juan Agudelo is a Colombian-American forward who played for the New England Revolution over the course of six seasons, making 156 regular season appearances, scoring 35 goals and registering 16 assists. He helped guide the club to the playoffs in 2013, 2015, and 2019. 

He spent part of the 2014 season with top-division Dutch side FC Utrecht. With the team he made 14 appearances and tallied three goals and three assists. 

In 2010, Agudelo began his professional career as a Homegrown player for the New York Red Bulls, spending more than two seasons with the club. He helped the team make the playoffs in each of his first two seasons. In his time with the club he made 33 regular season appearances, totaling six goals and two assists.  

In May of the 2012 season, Agudelo was traded to Chivas USA where he made 26 appearances before being traded to New England. Overall, Agudelo registered 46 goals and 22 assists in 216 career MLS matches before joining Inter Miami. â€¯â€¯ 

He has also represented the United States on the international stage, earning caps across various age levels. He made appearances for the U-17, U-20 and U-23 teams before earning senior call-ups. In total, Agudelo has earned 28 senior appearances. He made his debut in a 2010 match against South Africa and scored the game’s only goal, at the time becoming the country’s youngest ever goal scorer in a senior game.
