HOW ACQUIRED: Acquired via trade with Toronto FC.
A product of the Chivas USA Youth Academy, where he worked under the tutelage of former TFC and current LA Galaxy head coach Greg Vanney, Glendora, Calif. native Mark Delgado signed a Homegrown contract with the Goats in April 2012 at age 16. He went on to join TFC ahead of the 2015 season and made over 230 appearances for the club.
INTERNATIONAL: Delgado has represented the US as a member of several youth national teams and has made six appearances for the USMNT. In 2013, he saw action with the US U-17s before being promoted to the U-20 squad in late 2013, where he produced several impressive performances in the United States' run to the quarterfinals of the 2015 U-20 World Cup, starting all five of the team's matches in New Zealand. Also spent time with the U-15 national team as an underage player (13) and was a member of the U-17 Bradenton Residency Program during the fall 2010 and spring 2011 semesters.
